They are durable products with high density obtained by compression of ceramic fiber using various binders. Impact resistance is considerably higher than standard ceramic fiber plates. Materials with high compressive strength before and after heating are also long-lasting due to their denseness.
They are square/rectangular section seals with fully braided, dense, high tensile strength and performance. It is produced in cross-sections ranging from 5-100 mm in general, by knitting glass fiber threads in the form of braided hair. Roll lengths can vary as 25-50-100m depending on the section size. It is knitted in square section as 3 and 4 cross knits.
Glass fiber products are made of high temperature resistant glass fibers for environments with an operating temperature of 537 °C. It has excellent thermal resistance, high tensile strength, low thermal permeability and very good chemical resistance. Robust, mildew resistant, harmless to health. Glass fiber products are an ideal material for industrial insulation, sealing felt and gasket applications.
Features:
. Heat, spark and flame resistance
. chemical resistance
. low thermal transmittance
. High tensile strength, no tensile elongation
. High dielectric strength
. Does not pose a health hazard
Dimension: 2mm x 50mm x 30mt. / 2mm x 100mm x 30mt.
Glass Fiber is a material consisting of many thin Glass filaments. Woven Glass Fiber fabrics and Woven Rovings are one of the most popular materials for composite applications. Fabrics woven from fibers that can be produced as E-glass or S-glass are impregnated with epoxy and used in the manufacture of many parts. They are frequently preferred especially in boat manufacturing, wind turbines, automotive parts and mold manufacturing.
Properties;
• Corrosion Resistance
• Weight Advantage
• High strength
-Silicone coated glass fiber fabrics
Silicone coated fabric is obtained by coating the glass fiber fabric with silicone. Glass fiber is resistant to 550 oC. Silicone coated fabric withstands 230 oC. Silicone is coated on the glass fiber fabric to prevent liquid, oil, fuel, etc. substances from passing under the fabric.
As the silicon weight on the glass fiber fabric increases, the liquid permeability inside and under the fabric decreases.
Since glass fiber dissolves in water, silicone coating prevents the fragility of the fabric.
Single or double surface of these fabrics can be coated with silicone.
They are generally preferred in industrial applications, in the production of insulation jackets, in the shipbuilding sectors, in exhaust insulation, in steam circuits because they are certified.
They are available in different colors and weights. It provides high resistance against external influences such as mechanical, thermal and electrical. It has opacity, UV resistance and oxidation resistance. Silicone coating weight varies between 50-200 g/m2.
